Cleanliness and low particulate count are key elements in establishing a  successful thin-film fabrication and processing lab.  Unfortunately, clean rooms can be expensive to install and maintain.  A soft-wall clean area can help minimize the air-borne particulates that are otherwise unavoidable in exposed areas, without having to incur the high costs associated with clean rooms. 

 We use framing that allows for future expansion (or reduction) of the clean area.  The framing also allows for changes to the existing configuration for optimum lighting and HEPA unit placement.  Anti-static entrance areas increase protection of the delicate films from electrostatic affects that may damage their performance
